Production Services
Full Service Production
The Morpheus Advantage begins with an inventory of the latest equipment from leading manufacturers supported by our staff of highly talented and experienced technicians. Our proprietary products set us apart - offering unique creative tools to the designer and quantifiable cost savings to the producer. In addition, Morpheus can offer custom solutions to address specific production needs. Morpheus services major touring productions and one-off events from our Redding, California and Las Vegas, Nevada locations.
Morpheus began as a full-service automated lighting production company, serving the Rock ‘n Roll touring market with proprietary products. Over the years, we’ve evolved and adapted our proprietary systems to support all types of automated luminaires and control consoles on all types of productions.
Morpheus’ technicians are second to none. Many have worked with us for more than a decade. They are seasoned professionals who bring a depth of knowledge, experience and dedication to each project they undertake.
Be it a simple one-off event, or a major international tour: No matter what’s on your plot, Morpheus can supply it, support it, and service it with much greater efficiency than other lighting suppliers.
We achieve this with:
- State-of-the-art technical equipment from major manufacturers that is meticulously maintained by our shop staff and thoroughly checked out by our production technicians prior to shipment.
FlipBox™ truss and packaging system, which provides increased efficiency throughout the production process and is unrivaled when it comes to speed of deployment and re-packing.
Available in both 24” and 30” widths, FlipBox™ allows the lighting package to be pre-hung and tested in the shop, then efficiently transported with the fixtures and other equipment riding inside of the truss itself - a huge savings on truck space. At the venue, FlipBox™ is rapidly deployed with a minimum of labor.
Simple equation: FlipBox™ = Real Cost Savings.
Development never stops at Morpheus. We recently introduced our FlipBlock™ structural corner block, which allows FlipBox™ truss to be configured in curves and/or integrated into more complex truss configurations without sacrificing the advantages of FlipBox™ packaging.

Configurable, modular racks, featuring Morpheus’ SB-6™ and/or SP-120/208V power distribution systems which efficiently package power and data distribution, plus dimming and intercom.
Our Production Services department also supplies and supports our Legacy Products for both touring and one-off applications. These automated luminaires from an earlier-generation still offer great value and can meet specialized needs that are not addressed by other fixtures.
- FaderBeam™ is Morpheus’ time-tested tungsten-halogen washlight. Introduced more than twenty years ago this luminaire is still in surprisingly high demand by designers who value its pure wide-aperture tungsten beam, its variable reflector system and its superior ColorFader™ CYM color mixing system. FaderBeam™ systems continue to provide broad-based dynamic CYM color washes to meet the creative needs and budgets of specialized television events and touring projects. Morpheus recently restored and upgraded our FaderBeam™ inventory in order to meet this continuing demand.

- BrightBurst™2000E is Morpheus’ 1200 watt HMI answer to the request for searchlight brightness and fat beam in a more compact one-piece form. A number of manufacturers have brought out fixtures that have similar optics with reflectors that are about 10” in diameter. BriteBurst™2000E trumps them all with a 15” diameter aperture, fast ColorFader3™ color mixing, a snappy dowser and now, a flicker-free electronic power ballast.
